Hebden Bridge is only seven miles away. It is a beautiful village in the Calder Valley straddling the River Calder and Leeds Liverpool Canal. The houses are perched along the sides of the Calder Valley. The Arts Festival runs in June/July for a few weeks and attracts many visitors. Quaint little shops selling an array of local produce and arts as well as a range of restaurants and cafes.
