Places to eat and thing to do while you are in Heber Springs
Heber Springs has some great restaurants that are owned locally. There are a lot of hiking trails and outside activities . I’d like to recommend some things that my family and I go to when we are visiting.
Homemade food! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I usually take my son and his friends there for a big breakfast before going out on the lake. Very friendly atmosphere.

They offer a variety of food. Hush puppies, Brown beans, coleslaw and green tomatoes are provided when you sit down. Two of my favorite plates are there fried catfish and a salad with grilled chicken. All their desserts are handmade, they offer a wide variety of cakes and pies.

There are actually two waterfalls in this area.And easy hike to the first waterfall to view it from a deck. The other fall is to the left around the mountain you can usually hear the water. The trail is a little bit more strenuous be careful. You can also go down the mountain to the base of the waterfall

Awesome hike on a hot day. The water comes from the bottom of the lake. It will take you down to the Little Red River. You can also go to the fish hatchery .

A great place to hang out for the day at the campsite swimming area. The marina houseboat rentals if you want to go out on the lake for the day.
