Asian Palace has a good range of 'Western' Chinese dishes and desserts. It's not our favorite place to eat, but within walking distance it's not a bad option.

If you can walk a little further, the Keysborough South shopping centre has a few good places to eat.
Sea Breeze on Chapel is a great fish and chip shop, also serving home style burgers and other snacks. We've never had a bad meal here.

If you're after noodle-box style noodles, or sushi, Yoshi is always good. One serve of noodles with an entree is usually enough for two people.

Woolworths is our local supermarket, who stock everything you will need to prepare your own meal. They have an in-house butcher, baker and deli, as well as all of the household staples you expect. Note that plastic bags are no longer supplied by our supermarkets, so you will either need to bring your own, or purchase a re-usable bag in the store.

There is a cafe at Gardenworld centre. This centre is worth a look in itself, as they have a wide variety of items on sale, from potplants to cactii, fossils and gemstones. We have not been to the cafe, but see it is always busy, which is a good sign!

There are some great options within a (mostly) 15 minute drive of Waterways. Here are some of our favorites.
The restaurant doesn't look much, in fact it's so small it's easy to miss - but it has some of the best burgers and wings we've had anywhere. The menu has a Korean influence, a welcome change from the usual American style items.

Cultural Commons is an American style smokehouse and burger joint. Great burgers, wings, brisket, pulled port, ribs and sides, along with a pretty good cocktail menu. Worth a trip if you're feeling hungry!

The menu is relatively short, consisting of Brisket, Pulled Port, Wings, Ribs and Kransky, but the food is on point, the ambiance like an oversize man-cave, and the bar extremely well stocked - be sure to try a pickleback!
