(-: Strawberry Fields dedicated to John Lennon, The Great Lawn (nice place to sit/relax), Bethesda Terrace (great view), Belvedere Castle (nice to see), Conservatory (rent a boat).

Great Museum in Brooklyn, and if you happen to be around for the first Sat of the month they've have something called "First Saturday" .... Museum is free from 5pm and they've concerts... also close to Botanical Gardens, Central Park (same architect as Central Park) and Brooklyn Library.

A quicker way to/from apartment to Times Square/42 street train station is to enter or exit at 44th Street (near 8th Avenue) great way to avoid the rain, snow and cold. Trains: 1, 2, 3, 7, A, B, C, D, E, F, M, N, R, and S shuttle to and fro Grand Central Station (Apple Store).
