Eatons Hill Hotel is host to many music artists, both abroad and across Australia. It also hosts many events throughout the year such as beer festivals, rodeos, had its own gin making facilities in site
Eatons Hill is must on your list, if staying with us, whether it be just for a drink, bistro meal or dinner in the Restaurant. The Hotel is distinguishable by the gorgeous Oak tree which the Hotel is built around and is lit with fair lights throughout.

With Di's Twin Brother David Hollyoak and sister having run a Brewery/Restaurant called Redoak, in Sydney and being Australia's most awarded brewery, we are keen to get there and experience it ourselves and keen to hear of any Guests feedback regarding same

Also a must on our list, but have received great reviews of Tannins Brew and have even had good friends of the owners of the business stay with as Guests a short time after it opened its doors, so obviously they have great taste!!

Food Scene
If you are looking for a place which has amazing meals, especially those who love their meat and pizzas, you can’t go past Eatons Hill Hotel restaurant, where you get to choose your own cut of meat! This can be enjoyed during the winter months in front of a dining open fireplace inside or during the dinner months overlooking the greens surrounding Eatons Hill Hotel which hosts many social events such as pool parties, etc.
The Hotel is well renown for its steaks and cuts of meats, where you choose the meat you want and the way you wish it to be cooked. It has a number of various eating options throughout the Hotel catering for informal and more formal dining.
PS great playground (both inside and outside options), allowing you to enjoy your meal and company you are with, without forgetting what you were talking about!

If you want a place to eat which is not as busy as Eatons Hill Hotel, but is still within 5 - 10 minutes drive from the Cottage, you can’t go past Albany Creek Tavern, which tends to be one of our go to places! It offers a great outside playground that the kids love and is within viewing, whether you are seated inside or outside, which is just beautiful on warmer evenings.

730 Albany Creek RdIf you want a place to eat which is not as busy as Eatons Hill Hotel, but is still within 5 - 10 minutes drive from the Cottage, you can’t go past Albany Creek Tavern, which tends to be one of our go to places! It offers a great outside playground that the kids love and is within viewing, whether you are seated inside or outside, which is just beautiful on warmer evenings.
Portabella is a beautiful restaurant in Albany Creek which is more your fine dining experience and certainly one of Floyd’s and my favourites for those special (and rare) occasions where you manage to get away just the two of us, without the rest of the family in toe!

You cannot go past Hane Sushi as being one of our favourite Japanese places to eat. Boasts your usual sushi train which the kids love of course, as well as having an electronic system of ordering those items not included on the sushi train. One of Di's favourites and the spicy Aburi salmon is to die for (assuming you love salmon and spice)!

You cannot go past Hane Sushi as being one of our favourite Japanese places to eat. Boasts your usual sushi train which the kids love of course, as well as having an electronic system of ordering those items not included on the sushi train. One of Di's favourites and the spicy Aburi salmon is to die for (assuming you love salmon and spice)!
Although Warner Tavern does not have as good a play area as Albany Creek Tavern and Eatons Hill Hotel, the food quality and service is amazing and has a large outside eating area. A really nice venue to have a meal!

Kylie and her team always make you feel welcome, whether it be that you are just turning up for coffee or just cant go past their vast range of AMAZING cup cakes, catering for all tastes! They also make cakes for special occasions such as big birthdays and special events like wedding cakes, just amazing!
Our biggest challenge is to make it to the Cafe before 4pm on a Friday to get a cup cake as a special treat for the little one, for us surviving the week! God luv Kylie, she has even kept the doors open a little later waiting for our arrival!

Tell Theresa (the Manager of the Coffee Club) that Di from the Airbnb sent you and she and her team will be sure to look after you. This is my favorite place to sit and work, when working from home, but needing to get out of the house for a break. The lounge chairs are definitely my go to. The staff at the Coffee Club are amazingly friendly and accommodating and one of Di's favourite is the Roasted Cauliflower & Fresh Avo salad and of course their signature Flat Grills!
