Devil's Den State Park is located nearby (about 30 minutes) and has great hiking trails. Family and pet friendly. Recommend the Devil's Den Trail (1.5 miles) and Yellow Rock Trail (3 miles).

One of my favorite hikes, Hemmed-In-Hollow Falls is a strenuous 5 mile hike to a 209 ft waterfall. The hike also offers great views.

The museum also includes a home built by Frank Llloyd Wright, and is itself an architectural masterpiece.
