I love this place, because it's very close to us, and has a super fun and hip vibe, but is also kid friendly. They have an amazing grilled cheese and tomato soup combo, and their Asian noodle dish is to die for. They have a great outdoor patio also, and delicious weekend brunch.

Best pizza in the city, I'd say. I also love Stellar's Pizza in Georgetown, but it's not nearly as close to us as this place. For local delivery, go with Olympia Pizza and Pasta.

They have amazing Eggplant Parmesan...just be a cheese lover! This is our go to pizza delivery spot.

Best view of the city, and pretty good food. Decor is from the early 90's, but still lovable. The all you can eat buffet brunch is expensive, but to die for, I've heard. I know that Saturday is the less busy day for brunch. Sundays and holidays are nearly impossible. Go for happy hour on a budget! They have GREAT food specials...fish tacos are the best! Make a reservation for dinner or brunch. Happy hour is open seating and never a problem, and they have it every day of the week.

IMO, best Mexican food joint around. Cheap, delicious and low key. Prepare for loud metal music and free flowing cocktails, but it's also totally kosher to take your kids. I ONLY get the Chimichanga. It's the best you'll ever have. It's also on Alki Beach, which is a great place to walk around. Avoid the weekend if you can though - it's a nuthouse in the summer on weekends.

The BEST cafe and bakery! We were so happy they opened one in our neighborhood. :)

GREAT place for a drink with friends, and a fun karaoke scene on Friday nights. Food is pretty good too, though there are other food places nearby I prefer. This is awesome for the whiskey lovers. :)

This place is the new hip spot, and it can be hard to get a table, but the food AND drinks are amazing, so if you're into where the locals hang, this is THE spot. Their on tap slushee drinks are amazing. I like the Hurricanes and their veggie noodle dish is spicy delicious, as are their garlic prawns and honey walnut prawns.

Sightseeing
LOVE the falls. It's a 45 minute drive from our house, and free to view. If you have a car, this is a must see...the drive out there takes you over the I-90 floating bridge, which is one of the best ways to see Mt. Raininer also. :)

We love taking our kids to the Science Center. It's an older facility, but is still pretty fun. I prefer it over the aquarium, personally.

I haven't been here yet, but EVERYONE says it's amazing, so I recommend checking it out if you're interested in glass art.

This historic theater has just been remodeled and is showing first run movies. WAY less hassle than going downtown for a movie. We love our little local theater. :)
