If all the browsing works up an appetite, you'll definitely want to enjoy breakfast or lunch at the Farmer's Market Cafe while you're there. Their biscuits and gravy are the best and their omelets are easily big enough for two.

Fully renovated in 2019, the park has playground equipment for every age, an ice skating ring and ribbon in the winter, roller skating or skateboarding in the summer and a splash pad for those warmer days. The Howard Park Public House is attached to the park with indoor and outdoor seating so it's easy to grab a bit or drink in between activities. Additional coffee shops, restaurants and bars are just across the street.
