Folkestone Harbour is a good place to visit if you have not been here before. You can walk down the newly refurbished Harbour arm which hosts a variety of eatery outlets, weekend markets, and bars.
From here you can also walk along the boardwalk to the coastal park or up the old high-street.

Canterbury is a beautiful City with a lot going on, whether you want a day out shopping, looking for a good restaurant/bar or would like to see the City's historical sites, Canterbury has it all.
If driving to Canterbury, we recommend using the park and ride bus service as parking can be very expensive and hard to find at peak times.

Lyminge is a bordering village that is only 1.3 miles from the property. Here there is a small shop where you can stock up on essentials, a good Chinse Restaurant / Take Away, a Pub, and a pharmacy.

The Village itself is just half a mile from the property.
Here you can find a small shop, Tea-Rooms, 2 Pubs, a Restaurant and Post Office (located in the Kings Arms pub).
There is also a children's play park and Tennis Court (which can be found at the Village Hall).
The best way to explore the area is by foot and you can find some beautiful walking routes by Googling 'Elham Valley Walkers'
