The Ingham Swan can be seen from the back garden of Old Chapel House. It takes 12 minutes to walk there via the footpath behind the house or one minute by car; pricey but popular; the head chef, Dan Smith, is well-known and has represented the East of England on Great British Menus; lovely thatched building right next to the church.

A really special one for people who love gardens. East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden is the gem in this area! Owned by two renowned gardeners. The gardens are incredible and the cakes and lunches are a all homemade. About five minutes by car (check opening times!) If you’d like to see Alan Grey then ask at the plant sales hut (just after the loo) where you may find him in the garden. He’s always good for a question or two and a chat as he works his way around his garden

The Gunton Arms is our favourite and is about 20 minutes away near North Walsham. They cook food on an open fire most days/evenings; super atmosphere; famous art work; deer nearby in the park to see if you’re lucky; it's crucial to book to make sure they have a table for you.
