Juan Dolio

Juan Dolio is a small seaside community and tourist destination in the province of San Pedro de Macoris on the southern coast of the Dominican Republic on the island of Hispaniola. Juan Dolio has 2,488 inhabitants (2010 ) and belongs to the district municipality Guayacanes.
What makes Santo Domingo unique and special is the Zona Colonial; this historic district, or the old town of Santo Domingo, is the most visited area in the city. The district bears witness to the tides of time that passed through Santo Domingo and all of the Dominical Republic.

Barahona is also known for being the only place where the rare Larimar stone can found.

A trip to Los Tres Ojos.

Los Tres Ojos National Park in Santo Doming. Hidden in a natural limestone cave in the lush surrounds of the Dominican Republic the small group of subterranean lakes known collectively as Los Tres Ojos (The Three Eyes) are home to a good number of animal species and some truly stunning natural beauty. Discovered in 1916, it is believed that the cave was frequented by ancient aboriginals from La Española.
