What can you say about this beach. It's one of Devons loveliest easily accessible beaches. At low tide you can walk across to burgh island for a drink in the pub. There is a cafe up near the car park and the sand is just lovely. Also a great spot for wild swimming, water sports and fishing.

Food scene

The local pub is so good i strongly advise all of my guests to book in advance to get a table. All of the food is locally sourced from nearby farms and suppliers, they even have their own deer stalker who provides the venison! Veegetarian options are available too. The chef is excellent. Fridays they do takeaway fish and chips and Sunday they do a sunday roast. Lovely!
