Sightseeing
The little cave on the left side of the beach is worth your while and for driving down the curvy road to Achata. Once you enter the water after swimming for about 5 meters to your left you will see an entrance to a cave and once inside this cave you can continue to crawl through a tunnel and back to the sea. There is even a tiny beach in the cave and the endangered Mediterranean Monk seals like to hide here in the winter time! You can enter the cave without getting your hair wet so no snorkel or dive equipment needed ;-)

City/town information
Visit the capital for the night out in town to enjoy a cozy vibe and good food and drinks! Pigadia also has supermarkets and some lovely shops, plus nearly all our gas stations are located there except from one in Arkassa.

Lefkos is a lovely beach town located at a 45 minute drive from Pini Volada. It has sandy beaches, plenty of restaurants and some shops. You can find sun-beds and umbrellas, and more importantly a beautiful beach with a view to the highest peak of Kali Limni on your left-side.

Rent a car or motor
The public transport on Karpathos is not very accessible and you really need some transportation to get around the island and also to reach Hikers Inn in Pini Volada. Rent a car or scooter/motor from Euromoto or AutoTour in Pigadia. Please book it in advance as they do get busy in the high season.
