Rotorua has some of the best MTB trails in NZ. Accessed from the Waipa area just south of the city. Any age, any season. Grades 1-5+
The trails are free. For a cost you can hire a MTB or electric bike at the hub. Shuttles run daily from various locations in the forest (fee applies)

Food. Rotorua is well serviced with restaurants. Start from Eat Streat in the evening, walk along Tutanekai Street for a great selection of restaurants. Thursday night markets on Tutanekai Street are popular with food stalls and local produce / products.
