We are suckers for the gyro! This is for those of you that have more international taste buds. We were lucky enough to be able to go to Israel a couple years back, and loved the shawarma while there. This isn't shawarma, but it helps us get close. :)

This BBQ is amazing!! Go early though, because they tend to run out of things as the day goes on. Our favorites: The pulled pork sandwhich "bama" style, the mac n cheese, and the banana puddin (We're telling you, we're not even big banana pudding fans, but this stuff is amazing!)
Their englewood location also has an 8 lane bowling alley, billiards tables, and an arcade, so you can make a night or afternoon out of it.

You have got to try Granny Scott's pie shop that has been in the area for years! They not only have pie, but also a large variety of all kinds of desserts, as well as deli items.

The Bear Creek walking trail system is close by, and is great for walking, running, riding a bike, or just exploring in general. It's an enjoyable time in nature. You might even see some wildlife while you're there, like an owl, hawks, or a muskrat!

This little mountain town is a short drive away and is known for their pizza place, Beau Jo's Pizza. It is delicious! There is usually a wait during busy times, but we'll say it's definitely worth the wait! TommyKnockers is also nearby and they have some great sodas (try the Almond Cream!). There are a lot of small shops to browse through too, for that great Colorado souvenir or just for whatever strikes your fancy!
