One of the oldest Botanical Gardens in the Caribbean. Magnificent scenery and wonderful spots to sit and enjoy. Don't miss the recently added Chinese Garden - make sure you do a tour with Mr Creary who is a font of information.

The University was established in 1948 and has grown immensely since then. The site of training for many of Jamaica's famous athletes including Usain Bolt. Wonderful vistas, and quiet spots. Check out the Bookstore for great Caribbean books and publications. Visit the Chapel which was created using stones from an old Estate house in Jamaica which was dismantled stone by stone, transported across the island and set up on site. Look up on the ceiling at the crests of the Caribbean islands which support the University.
