Goathland is a bustling little village famed for the filming of Heartbeat in the 90s and the station is famously used for the filming of Harry Potter. The Steam train from Pickering goes through this village making it a busy stop along the way to Whitby.

Food scene
Whitby is a lovely small beach resort steeped in history. The Dram Stoker story of Dracula originates from here. there is a lovely harbour area and a quint town centre. Just 2 miles north walk along the beach you will come to Sandsend a lovely little village with a cafes and a pub at the end of the walk. Whitby is also the end of the railway line for the Pickering steam train.

Robin Hoods Bay is a lovely little fishing village, there is a steep slope down from the main road that is lined with little gift shops and coffee houses that leads down to the beach. Not for anyone with mobility issues.
