Walks in Nature
Walk to the end of the village by the estuary and walk across the cob. Here you will get beautiful views of the forest, estuary and there’s usually some Welsh Mountain ponies in the marshy fields on the left.
You can continue your walk into Newborough forest and might even see some Red Squirrels which are protected here. Then if you walk through the forest and out to the beach on the other side you can take a walk onto Llandwyn Island.
Watch out for tides that you’re always able to get your feet back on dry land.
To the mouth of the estuary is where Prince William & Kate lived for a few years after they were married.
