Lawrence County Courthouse is a historic courthouse in Mount Vernon. It was built in 1900, and is a rectangular, 2 1/2-story, Romanesque Revival style limestone building featuring a statue of Lady Justice atop the bell tower. Both the Lewis Shaw Coleman house (adjacent to The Salon Bungalow) and the Lawrence County Courthouse were built by T. A. Miller and both are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Well done, Mr. Miller.
