Berkeley Lake Park
4601 W 46th AveEnjoy a morning walk around the lake.
This trailhead is a 15 Minute drive away. Its 1700' elevation gain over 3.5 Miles oneway - out & back trail - to the top of Lookout Mountain. A note of caution: in the foothills of Denver - if the overnight temp didn't drop below 50 degrees - always be watchful of rattle snakes. In the summer I love this hike at 6am because I have never seen a snake out that early.
