Crown Point Park is on the east side of Crown Point on Mission Bay in San Diego. This nice grass park has a sand beach with fire pit rings along its shores and a large flat sandy area at the south end. The park has a play area for kids, two basketball courts, and a boat launch. Calmer waves make for a great beach for smaller children.

The original location for this ambitious restaurant group first introduced San Diego to its Milan-style pizza, which features a super-thin crust and gourmet combinations like njduja with buffalo mozzarella, porchetta, red onions, and arugula. The kitchen also offers a thicker pizza with a whole wheat crust as well as two types of specialty foccacia. Its thoughtful and progressive wine list is another attraction.
