This is a bit out of town, and it's not incredibly easy to get there. But the nature out here is absolutely amazing and it's definitely worth the trip.
This area covers just about a fourth of the island of Amager.

Transportation
Generally the city is very walkable, but is Copenhagen is famous for its bike culture. For most people, the best way to navigate the city is by renting a bike. It’s not only more affordable than the metro, but also you can enjoy the view. Before you binge, be sure to familiarise yourself with the rules. Otherwise, the metro is very punctual.

You will for sure find yourself by Nyhavn. The famous picturesque canal that is depicted in every cart-postal. However, as you stroll along the right side of the canal, you’ll come across a bridge. Cross it, and you’ll discover a bustling food market. This area, on both sides of the water, is vibrant and lively, especially in the summer. You’ll find locals and tourists alike soaking up the sun, and if the weather is warm enough, many take a refreshing swim. So, if you’ve packed a swimsuit and have some time to relax, I highly recommend joining them. Especially check Kalvebod Bølge.
