Only about a 25 minute bus or 10-15 minute uber from our flat. Blackheath is worth a visit for lunch, dinner or brunch. There is a huge amount of restaurants and cafes, microbreweries and local pubs. It's also a great place for a picnic on the grass.

If you are a foodie you will love this place. Head there for lunch or just wander around enjoying the atmosphere and tasting all the free samples. After that head to Tate Modern by walking along the Thames to see some free art exhibitions.
