Waterfalls! Natural pools! Giant water slide! Fun fun tico places with big restaurant, showers and bathrooms, ranchos with picnic tables and BBQs if you get there early, plenty of parking, hiking trails, even short zip lining at certain times of year. Playground too!

Getting Around

CAR FERRY! Very cool. From Puntarenas to Nicoya Peninsula. Get in line, park, then get your tickets at the office on the corner. just ask and follow where they point. Driver is included with car price, but there is a per person ticket price too. Driver drives on by passengers must walk on. Disabled can drive on with driver, and there is a very cool elevated stair lift!

Ferry from Puntarenas to Paquera - there used to be one to Paquera and one to Naranjo (just a few miles away from each other). Just ask when you get there depending on which area you are going to on the other side.
