Enjoy a sunny day at the park. This probably isn't in the guidebooks but it's a popular local hangout for families, hipsters, couples, and pretty much anyone! Pack a picnic.

Bring a book and a picnic for a couple hours and enjoy the harbour view. Also kid friendly water fountains to play in.
