My favorite cuban restaurant is right up Armitage (west of Western). Order the special. It's BYOB.. you can bring a bottle of wine and they have wonderful sangria mix for a pitcher ! Great vibe anytime of day or night. There is usually a bit of a wait in the evening.. but they have waiting areas where you can enjoy your wine or sangria while you wait. Great for larger groups.

A quick uber ride but worth it. This is near Rootstock restaurant which makes for a perfect evening in my book. Dinner at 8pm and then hop over to the Clipper to be transported into a different era with cocktails and music.

Their first one opened in Brooklyn several years ago. Def. worth checking out and learning the game!! Fun atmosphere w food trucks and roof deck.
