“Brunch Gabe Stulman's decade-old West Village cafe is a cozy space run by friendly people, and the coffee here is very good. The tiny kitchen cranks out French-American comfort food dishes during brunch, including a fried chicken sandwich, avocado toast, and French toast.”

Pizzería
$$
“John's opened it's doors in 1929 and is known to be one of the four original pizzerias in NYC. The pizzas are still made the same way with the same ingredients - cheese going on first before adding sauce on top before going into a coal-fired oven. Go wild loading your pizza with all the ingredients you want; the thin, crunchy crust holds up perfectly, even piled high with toppings. ”

Restaurante francés

“Do you want to have the best burger of your life? Many people mention good burger spots in all cities but this is legitimately probably the best burger in the world. It's not a regular burger. It's french style and is rated the top burger in New York if not the world by many publications. The burger is only served at the bar, and it's a small bar. They also limit the amount of burgers served every day so it's rather exclusive (I think they only serve 12). The burger is ~$30 but you will be a happy camper if you get to bite into one of these. Seriously. Ideally, call a day ahead to confirm when they will be serving the burgers the next day as weekends and weekdays are different hours. The sweet spot is getting there 20-30 minutes before opening. You should be the first in line if not close. There are exactly 9 seats at the bar. If you don't get a seat at the bar you can't get it. This burger will change your taste buds. If you can't get a seat at the bar, the dining room serves amazing food as well. Order the Steak Au Poivre Peppercorn and you won't regret it. ”

“Originally destined merely to be the precursor to the upstairs bar, the room has become one the most luxurious in the city, thanks to those gurus of NYC nightlife design, Sean MacPherson and Eric Goode. Here they have created a stylish and elegant space, tastefully appointed, with an abundance of wood panelling, vintage leather, wide Persian rugs and a historic mural. ”
