¡Marchando un menú finlandés!
I will welcome you in my home in the design district, Punavuori. The plan for the evening is to create together a traditional Finnish meal consisting of a starter, a main course and dessert. You will get your hands dirty with peeling, chopping and kneading. Sounds like a lot? Finns like to keep things uncomplicated in all aspects of life - including cooking - so we will finish prepping on time. An example menu looks like: Lohikeitto (salmon soup) Lihapyörykät (Finnish meatballs) Korvapuusti (cinnamon rolls) THE MENU WILL CHANGE ACCORDING TO SEASON AND THE REQUEST OF GUESTS THAT SIGNED UP. While we are preparing dinner together, you will have the chance to learn about various exotic Nordic ingredients from the seas and forests exclusive to this region. At the dinner table we can then discuss the latest gossips of the Finnish gastro scene, and you can ask me for tips and recommendations where to eat next. You will also take home a printed version of the recipes with you, so you can share them with your friends and family when your vacation is over. I have vegetarian, vegan, lactose- and gluten-free menu options too. Just ask.
Captura Helsinki desde sus mejores ángulos
We will start the walk from Holiday Inn hotel, close to central station. During two hours, we will walk through the most majestic and off-the-beat scenic and photographic spots in Helsinki. We will also visit famous touristy spots, but with a twist as we will see and capture them from some unusual yet extremely photogenic angles. These are the spots that I have discovered through four years of extensively exploring Helsinki with my camera. Along the way I will share some interesting, fun and curious facts about Helsinki and its rich history and click some memorable portraits and photos at unforgettable locations, which I will send you after the tour. This walk and photo-shoot session is perfect for solo travellers, couples, friends and families (on request). Recorrido a pie por Helsinki con un urbanista
Forget those pre-scripted, crowded, boring touristy tours! In my walking tours, I use my creativity and knowledge to adjust the tour according to your interests and preferences, the group size and the weather conditions; so you will get the best of Helsinki. We will walk together in and around the city center, discovering Helsinki's secrets, learning its history, culture and traditions. Why do Helsinki people have picnic on top of graves? What was the meeting point of the bohemian people of 1880s in Helsinki? How did they build a church inside a giant granite rock? Where did Lenin hide when he was running away from the Tsarist Russia? Which statue is the one that seagulls hate the most? Where did they bury thousands of bodies during the plague? Why is the largest Orthodox cathedral located in a Lutheran country? Where can you eat the best salmon soup of your life? Why Finnish people still cheer for the opponents of the Swedish national football team? How did a Finnish architect influence generations of American architects and skyscraper designs? We will find answers to all of these questions and more, while visiting each of these important locations in Helsinki. Other things to note Be prepared to walk 6-7 km and come with comfortable walking shoes and extra layers for warmth. Please remember to check your messages on your Airbnb account or Airbnb mobile app as that is the main communication tool. You can check out my website for various tours www.atamantours.com

Heres what is going to happen: –Maximum amount of people on the experience is 4. – I will pick you up at 18.00 sharp – I use four different locations depending on the weather & forecast, all of them have roughly the same “schedule”: – A short walk through the night forrest – We start a fire at the lean-to. – Free hanging around the area, spotting the borealis ect. while I cook. – The Dinner – We can try to figure out do the Borealis really hum... – I will watch the borealis radar – If theres no Borealis by the first place, we head on top Ounasvaara for different views & change for Sledging – I will drop you off where you want Other things to note: The car we use is a 2017 Dacia Duster 4x4. Professional photoshoot in Helsinki
We meet near the main railway station or somewhere else in the city center. The place of the photoshoot depends on the weather conditions, the location is negotiated before a photoshoot. I know nice places in Helsinki, starting with the city center and finishing with natural areas. If you prefer the center, we can take photos in the park of Botanical garden, the Senate square, Katajanokka, or the Töölö and Eira neighbourhoods. However, if you want to get picturesque photos in the Nordic nature, we can take a walk on the Lauttasaari island or Suomenlinna island (a 20 min ferry trip). As a result, you’ll have 25-30 professionally edited photos within 14 days. Things to note: Before a photoshoot, I discuss outfits or, at least, colours of your clothes. It’s essential, because it affects the result. I send you examples of clothes that will perfectly suit for a shoot in the location of your choice. In the spring and summer season I don’t take photos in the midday, because of the harsh light. If you want to get beautiful and warm pictures it’s better to book a photoshoot after 19:00. We have a long light day in Finland at this season. If you need a photoshoot in the middle of the day, I’m open for discussion. Please, contact me for time outside the schedule. My main goal is that you get beautiful photos from mesmerising Helsinki, which will keep you warm with good memories.

Ruta mágica por el bosque con Taiga Times
This day trip takes us off the beaten path to Liesjärvi national park, a breathtaking landscape carved by glaciers and shrouded by old-growth forest that will provide a magical setting to spend the day exploring nature. The park itself is a wonderful place for foraging wild foods such as blueberries, lingonberries, chanterelle and porcini mushrooms, and many more. As I have studied here in Finland as a wilderness guide, my passion lies in the knowledge of nature, so we will be stopping along our walk to talk about our surroundings, search for seasonal wild foods, and really enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of this wild national park. For lunch, I will prepare a delicious campfire meal that typically includes smoked salmon soup, rye bread, blueberry pie, and coffee/tea. Please note that the specific lunch offerings may vary depending on the season and any dietary requirements. Extra info: We will have a bathroom break 25 minutes before entering the park. The walking trail is approx. 5 km and only requires a basic level of fitness and regular shoes. I can lend rain jackets and winter boots in winter. Committed to sustainability, this tour has the Sustainable Travel Finland label and the Green Activities certificate. We treat everyone in an equal manner and welcome you to join us for an adventure that contributes positively to the environment. Ask for other dates.

Guided Northern Lights Tour in Pyhätunturi
We will begin our hunt for the Northern Lights in the evening from Pyhätunturi ski resort area where you will receive the equipment (skis or snowshoes depending on your liking) needed for the adventure in the snowy backcountry. Prior skiing experience is not needed on this tour. We will ski or snowshoe in the untouched snow with headlamps and on a clear night we'll also have the moon and stars lighting our way. We will tour to an open space where we will look for the Northern Lights. Given the right conditions we have the possibility to see the beautiful Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) against the dark night sky. We will stop for a break, start a fire together to keep warm and you will get to enjoy local Arctic snacks and hot beverages by the fire while looking up the sky searching for the magical Northern Lights. Please note that the best possibility to see Auroras is in clear weather, when the stars are visible in the sky. It's important to remember that Auroras are not visible every night and therefore seeing the Northern Lights during the activity can't be guaranteed. Pyhätunturi and Pyhä Ski Resort are located about two hours' drive from Rovaniemi. There are also good SkiBus connections from the Rovaniemi airport and the train station to Pyhä.

Helsinki; the city where things work, and public transportation is no exception. It works flawlessly and is ranked among the best, not just in Europe but in the world. Helsinki also has one of the oldest tram systems in the world that dates back to 1891! In the city center areas, trams are the first choice of the locals when it comes to transportation. For Helsinkians, the sound of the trams in the neighborhoods, especially during the silent nights, is a delightful and comforting thing. In this tour, we will visit various parts of this beautiful city that would not have tourist crowds and you will enjoy it like a local, by using the famous tram system of Helsinki. You will discover hidden locations that you wouldn’t find in standard tour itineraries; places full of secret parks, beautiful cafes and pubs, flea markets, great views and needless to say impressive architecture. In addition to all of these, you will get to keep your day ticket after the tour which is valid for 24 hours. We will have a beautiful route covering various neighborhoods: Kruununhaka, Punavuori, Eira, Ullanlinna, Kaartinkaupunki, Kamppi, Töölö. Other things to note: We'll use the trams but we'll also walk around 5 km during the tour so please dress according to weather. Please check out my bio to reach my website for various tours.
