It's in heart of horse country, but close to (URL HIDDEN) Bourbon Trail, Ky Horse Park, Keeneland, Equus Run Vineyards, Old Friends, and historic Midway. Excellent dining choices are close by in Midway, Lexington, Georgetown and Frankfort. You have the perfect front porch view of picturesque Equus Run Vineyards, located just across the road, and access to South Elkhorn Creek.
We hope you will enjoy Saddlestone Cottage and the area where it's located. It has been totally renovated and expanded within the last year. Each bedroom has a new queen bed and private bath. The kitchen is fully functional so you can enjoy cooking tasty creations or drinking a cup of coffee in the morning. A full laundry room is just off the kitchen area. Comfortable, cozy, updated--relax and enjoy the perfect home base for touring the Bourbon Trail, visiting Keeneland, taking in historical sites or enjoying a glass of wine on the front porch swing.
The house is not suitable for young children. Families with children 10 years and older are welcome.

Atención a los huéspedes
I'm happy to interact as much or as little as guests want and will gladly make suggestions for touring, dining and more. I love my little "slice of heaven" and want others to enjoy it too.
Otros aspectos destacables
The price includes the state sales tax and state/local room taxes.
The house is on a septic tank system, so NO flushing of anything such as paper towels, feminine hygiene products, diapers, etc.
As for grease from cooking, please use paper towels to scrap into the trash, not the kitchen sink drain.
I'm a true bred, born and raised Kentuckian and actually grew up in Woodford County where Saddlestone Cottage is located. Growing up, I always said I'd live in a big city, not central Kentucky. I did move away for awhile...and you guessed it...ended up back where I started. I've learned to drive a tractor and bushhog fields, something I never thought I'd do, but a necessity with 15 acres. I love traveling, meeting new people, entertaining friends, learning about history and enjoying a glass of wine on the front porch. I'm a Downton Abbey fan and am still trying to come to grips with the fact that I can only watch reruns from now on!
