Accessed by its own gated lane and set in a private paddock, "Oliveduck Hut" is the perfect retreat for couples, or singles who prefer their own company. An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

A luxury shepherd hut set in its own paddock overlooking the Wye valley and the Black mountains, close to the town of Hay on Wye and the Brecon Beacons National Park. Within the hut is a well equipped kitchen, en suite bathroom and foldaway double bed. There is a wood burning stove ensuring comfortable warmth all year round. We are 3.2 miles from the wonderful market town of Abergavenny, gateway to the Beacons National Park. We have amazing views of Skirrid Mountain and countryside. You can roam freely around our 5 acres of land/garden . We supply outside furniture and sole use of our external hot tub, please note it’s available for use all year around, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use.

In winter it’s all snuggling round the log burner with breath-taking views and wonderful walks, and in summer it’s outside living in a flower-rich meadow. Plus you will enjoy complete seclusion and peace and quiet!

The Tiny Townhouse, Hay-on-Wye

The perfect place to stay as a couple or by yourself when visiting Hay. From the Tiny Townhouse it is only a short walk up Brook St to the centre of town passing Booths Cinema. Closer to home is The Globe, an old converted chapel turned Restaurant. The house is very cosy yet modern with an open plan ground floor with kitchen whilst the upstairs bedroom has a kingsize bed & a large walk in shower in the bathroom. At the back of the property there is access for bike storage.
