The cottage is in the historical village of Cilgerran. Visit Cilgerran's Norman castle and take in beautiful views of the river Teifi where you may see local coracle fishermen practising their craft. There are numerous walks in and around the village and plenty of activities eg. fishing, kayaking, boat trips, coast steering, wildlife centre, pubs. The nearby market town of Cardigan offers supermarkets and restaurants. Near numerous sandy beaches and the beautiful Pembrokeshire national park.

The Wildlife Wetland Centre is nearby and we are 6 miles from a beautiful dog-friendly sandy beach. With a cosy woodburning stove and spacious accommodation you can expect a very comfortable stay at Glenview Cottage.

When you choose to come and stay at Cilwendeg Lodge, you will buy into a piece of history going back to the early 1800’s. This beautiful Grade II listed gate house is part of the 350-acre estate of Cilwendeg, where we as owners also live. The family have been on the estate for over a 100 years, we have so carefully renovated the gate house to turn it into wonderful holiday accommodation set in a large garden with a private hot tub.
