The Anderson House

Featuring a full kitchen, an open floor plan, and inviting outdoor spaces, The Anderson House offers a perfect retreat for relaxation or exploration. A short walk across the grounds leads to a small coffee roastery, farmland, and a state forestry park, where guests can immerse themselves in outdoor activities or enjoy a delicious coffee.

Serene country stay. Great for a couple, an outdoorsman, or travelers! Includes use of pond, fishing poles, kayaks, and hiking trail. Our pet ducks roam freely about. Use of gas grill, firepit and firewood. Bow target available upon request. This cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I57 access, and public hunting land and within 1 hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Its a 12x20 studio cabin with 1 full bed and 1 twin foam couch. We don't allow pets.

Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Airbnb Super Host "Mr. Haney's Place". We are only 5.1 miles from the magnificent historic Cedarhurst Center for the Arts and 18 miles from the beautiful Rend Lake. Our property has been made with the conveniences of being ADA accessible. A one level home with a step in shower and newly added ramp for easier entry. We do also offer fishing from our gazebo on our large pond. The home includes utensils you may need to make a meal.

This house is spacious, with a beautiful kitchen if you want to cook and a HUGE lawn if you need some peaceful outdoors time. Only 2 miles from the Rend Lake duck hunting draw, and a short drive from numerous other boat launches and public hunting ground! Perfect location for outdoor lovers of all kinds!

Suitable for families or a romantic getaway. The outside of property is a work in progress, but we’ll usable. Excuse the reconstruction!
