The beach is a 5 minute walk away. There is a large deck where you can sip your coffee watch the sunrise and the wildlife passing by the orchard. There is a wood stove that can be lit for additional heat in the winter. I have this going on arrival on colder days. Just add a log and enjoy a glass of wine

There is no beach access from the property but we're just a short walk to the Alders Beach which offers long stretches of sand for walking, swimming and exploring tidal pools. The Lund Harbour House is a spacious (815 sq. feet inside + 570 sq. feet of decks) custom, hand crafted suite situated on the waterfront in the Lund harbour. Private & peaceful, yet only meters to restaurants, shops, art galleries, and tour operators along a private boardwalk. It is suitable for up to 4 guests with a well stocked kitchen & fireplace. An adjacent beach area is perfect for kayak launching (yours or rent ours!) and those decks offer Lund's best place for viewing amazing sunsets.

Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.
