Walk down the railroad tie stairs and through our "naturally" landscaped yard to find your private dock with a kayak that is free for guests. Whitman Lake is just ~45 min south of Tacoma and ~45 min north of MRNP... a perfect home base for your adventures.

All of this and still less than 11 miles to Redmond (think Microsoft), 26 miles to Seattle downtown. Winter skiing and summer alpine hiking are only 20 to 50 miles away.

This is my personal home with 4 distinct and complete units. I live in a lower unit. There is a BBQ, cozy wood burning insert and a major close-up display of God's handiwork. Downtown Seattle is 26 miles away (times very). Snoqualmie skiing is 50 mins away & Crystal Mountain is 69 mins away.

Nestled above the water on a high bluff, the view literally takes your breath away; Puget Sound, Cascade mountains and sunrises that astound. It may be hard to believe an island paradise is so close to two major cities, but time seems to have stopped on Vashon. It's a magical place; come visit and let the spell work on you!
