Traditional Quirky Cottage

Traditional cottage (with extension) on the Wild Atlantic Way R600 between Kinsale(22KM) and Clonakilty(15km) close to Kilbrittain and Timoleague, with wonderful sandy beaches close by, which makes this an ideal location to explore West Cork. The original cottage was extended in the 70's and became our family holiday home, it is surrounded by natural woodland garden which also has a stream running through it. ( young children should be supervised while in the garden). The original cottage has been retained and has a loft area which is an ideal play area for children, it is accessed via a removable ladder, shown in photos. The third bedroom is also in this part of the house just off the lounge which has a wood burning stove. The two story extension has a modern living room with fireplace, a full kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom overhead.

This suite consists of three interconnecting bedrooms, kitchenette and bathroom situated in a scenic countryside setting. Large garden with lots of outdoor seating and plenty of space for kids to play football, jump on the trampoline etc. No matter what season you visit Spruce lodge it has something great to offer, be it the garden in full bloom during Summer, the gorgeous Autumnal colours of Autumn, the warm romantic Winter evenings by the open fire or the awakening of nature in Spring with the dawn chorus, you won't be disappointed.
