The Snuggery is a converted outbuilding that has been set up for a cosy stay with a wood burning stove and lots of snuggly wraps to cuddle up in. The open plan interior, high vaulted ceilings and natural oak flooring create an interior which is fun, light and airy. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy walks from the back door straight on to the North Downs Way and there is a bench by the front door fitted with a heated element, perfect for warming up your walking boots. Your own wet room, and fully fitted small kitchen, with all you need if you want cook. Guests have their own studio space, with a 140 cm firm double bed, furniture for storing things in, and hanging space with hangers. A daybed sofa that’s a comfortable single bed for the third guest, chairs for hanging out, or eating around the dining table.

Inside the cosy accomodation ancient timbers are paired with twists of antique luxuries and modern influences in which to relax and enjoy. Externally, the private pretty cottage garden is complete with patio furniture, pizza oven, bbq perfect for eating alfresco. For cyclists there’s a shed large enough to store the bikes.

The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

The Oast Cottage: Private Annex with own entrance.

We are pleased to offer our refurbished annex with double bedroom, private bathroom, own front door and a private field for dogs. Oast Cottage is a converted stables attached to the main Oast House. The Oast is set in a conservation area of Boughton Monchelsea which consists of converted farm buildings, listed houses and a 16th Century pub (directly opposite). The area boasts many places to visit (including Leeds Castle), countryside walks, as well as numerous pubs.
