Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Asunnossa on hyvin varusteltu keittiö, olohuone jossa 50" smart-TV sekä tunnelmallinen avotakka ja mukava vuodekulmasohva. Parvella on yksi 160cm parivuode sekä kaksi yhden hengen vuodetta. Kohde sopii parhaiten Lapin luonnon, historian ja hiljaisuuden ystävälle, joka ei pelkää talvella pimeää eikä kesällä sääskiä. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

Hiljaisuuden kylän mökit ovat käsin veistetty 30 vuotta sitten. Vuonna 2023 mökit ovat täysin uudistettu. Mökistä löytyy oma wc, kahvinkeitin, vedenkeitin, mikro ja jääkaappi. Mökin terassilta löytyy puulla lämmitettävä kylpytynnyri, joka on erikseen tilattavissa. Alueella on päärakennus josta löydät a-oikeuksilla varustetun ravintolan, jossa tarjoillaan aamiainen sekä valmistetaan tilauksesta päivällistä. Päärakennuksessa myös erilliset wc:t ja suihkut naisille ja miehille.

Vuonna 2024 alkuvuodesta valmistunut viihtyisä, hyvin varusteltu ja moderni mökki Laanilassa noin 3 km päässä Saariselän keskustasta. Mökki sijaitsee lähellä hiihto-, pyöräily- ja ulkoilureittejä. Mökillä on yksi makuuhuone sekä tilava parvi. Mökillä majoittuu mukavasti 5 henkeä. Avarasta tupakeittiöstä on kaunis metsänäkymä. Saunaosasto on ylellinen ja moderni. Mökin pihassa on ilmainen parkkialue sekä lämpötolppa. Ulkoiluvälineille on pieni varasto.
