Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. Deep sigh.

You’ll love it because it is tucked away on 75 acres only a mile from the city limits, The Place has a professional kitchen, beautiful views of oaks, a private pool, a bunk room with six beds, a private double room, a game room, balcony, and swimming pool. Located in Yantis, the heart of Lake Fork. This is a cozy cottage that was originally the early 1900’s Salem Church in Alba. It has original floors, full kitchen with new appliances and tons of country charm. We are a working farm, so expect chickens pecking around the yard or the neighborhood dog stopping by to say Hi! There is a cozy fire pit out back and a charcoal grill. You also have a private driveway entrance with covered boat parking available upon request.
