To many of us, these precious beings are our family, and what better way to explore the area than with them right beside you? No pet, no problem, you are of course, very welcome as well! Just 10min to Boone, 12min to Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. For skiing enthusiasts you are; 15min to App Ski Area 30min to Sugar Mountain 45min to Beech Mountain

A great way to experience "glamping" where stunning nature meets modern luxuries. Located on 30 acres with the comforts of electricity, mini fridge, heat, WiFi, and cooking accommodations. Bathroom is only 30 yard walk. Sleeping space for 2 adults only. 1-2 small kids may be allowed with preapproval. AWD/4-wheel drive recommended December-March in case of snow.

Nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains only ten minutes from both downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, App Ski, and Blue Ridge Parkway hiking, this fully-equipped tiny house on wheels is a great spot for vacation or an extended stay in the Appalachians. Note: this is a tiny house. It is 8' x 26'. It is very comfortable for up to two people (maybe three if the third is a very small child). Black Bear - Hike, Bike, Fish

UPDATE 10/07/2024: Black Bear is fully functional and is road accessible. Black Bear sits on 2 acres at the end of a winding gravel road, deep in the Forest, on the south side of Grandfather Mountain. It's convenient to many of the popular trails and creeks in the area, but it also backs up against some beautiful backcountry packed with creeks and waterfalls. If you're looking to escape the crowds, this is your spot.
