We have always called our wee cabin The Granny Flat, even though it has never been used as one. With a night-store heater that keeps it cozy in winter; a double bed; bathroom and full kitchen. Very close to a beach that often has dolphins right inshore at Howells Point. Located on a large double section with the owner's residence next door. You have exclusive use of the one bedroom flat with everything you need. Then unplug, relax and enjoy the birdsong. Sorry no WiFi. Friendly dogs welcome.

Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. All the basics you need, bed, chair, table, kitchen, bathroom and then your own outside eating area and bath on the deck under the veranda. We are located at the south coast of New Zealand, 10km's from Tuatapere. The Waiau river flows right behind the house, perfect for fishing or enjoying a walk on the beach.
