Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. This brand new home on the waterfront in Hancock has a wooded view of the Tidal Falls. Sit on the wrap around deck and watch and listen to the tide rise and fall. Bald eagles, deer and seals are frequent visitors to the shoreline below the house. The owners are a retired couple who like to be comfortable so there are many features added with this in mind! We have asked not to have young children as guests because the deck drops off and could be dangerous for them.
