Scotch Cove Retreat is our beautiful seaside cottage on the south shore of Nova Scotia in Mahone Bay. It has tons of spaces, gorgeous ocean views, "pool hall", artist's studio, and private dock on Scotch Cove only minutes away from hiking trails and the sweet town of Chester. It's perfect for a relaxing time with family and close friends. (Gatherings are now limited to 16 by Airbnb.) We've put a lot of work into this space and think it has a lot of heart and character. The Flat is the entire main floor plus finished basement in an historic Hydrostone home, a 3 minute walk to the shops and cafes of the Hydrostone Market. The Flat has a private entrance, hardwood floors, modern kitchen, renovated bath with walk-in shower, two living rooms (one with sofa bed) and a private, fenced back yard. Two bedrooms each have a queen-sized bed. Guests have a dedicated parking spot and easy public transit: the #7 bus stop is right outside.
