Based in the Nidderdale area of outstanding natural beauty, the accommodation has its own private access and garden with seating area, internally the annex can accommodate 2 people and one friendly dog,unfortunately we can't accept Labradors due to the shedding of there coats, (please ensure you register your dog when booking). Find a cosy country pub for lunch before heading home to Woodpeckers Cottage. As dusk falls, put your feet up, enjoy the warmth and stillness, then step outside to marvel at the North York Moors Dark Skies.

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. There are lots of local village pubs within 2.5 miles of us where you can go for a drink or meal or even visit the food capital of Malton.

It is close to great walks with the reservoirs of Fewston, Swinsty and Thruscoss on our door step all within a few minutes drive . Further afield is the amazing Cow and Calf rocks at Ilkley and the beautiful Brimham Rocks just of the road to Pately Bridge.. The towns of Otley, Pately Bridge, Ilkley, Skipton and Harrogate are all close by and offer great independent shops, cafes and eateries .
