The Shingle Gully Cottage is located on over 40 acres of privately-owned land bordering Sam’s Point Preserve. The cottage is located on the outskirts of Ellenville NY. The town is situated at the base of the rolling Catskills within the Shawangunk valley. Within the cottage, there is a pellet stove that will be lit on chilly nights upon request. The house was built in 2018. It is very modern and open. It is located 8 minutes from Minnewaska State Park, 10 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, and 30 minutes from the Catskills. There is a Smart TV. There is also a record player with a large record selection. There is strong WIFI and great cell phone coverage from all carriers. We have an EV level 2 charger. There is an additional charge to use the charger. Please contact us if you want to add charging to your stay.

We live upstairs & offer self-check-in. A rare find in the Hudson Valley, our neighborhood is mostly flat, with walkable, quiet roads, and excellent bird-watching. It's an easy bike ride to connect to the vast state-wide rail trail system & all that the Mohonk Preserve has to offer.
