The Chaney Homestead

Welcome to the Chaney Homestead! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a rural setting then this is the place for you. This two bedroom country home was built by Alfred "Alf" Chaney and his wife Ruan Dye Chaney back in 1913 and remains in the family today. The house sets on 4.5 acres with an amazing view of the trees and hills from the back porch. We are located 7 miles east of historic Fort Gibson and just a 12 minute drive from Tahlequah, the capital of the Cherokee Nation.

Whether you’re traveling down I-40 or Hwy. 69, moving a college student to Connors State College, or just visiting family in the area, this cozy little one bedroom house is the perfect place to stop and relax. There is plenty of room to sleep up to four people. There is a queen bed, a twin fold-out bed and a large comfortable sofa (not a sleeper sofa). Guests can enjoy free WiFi & High Speed Internet. There are two separate TVs so there’s no fighting over who gets to watch what.

Cozy home on Lake Eufaula. Just 5 miles off of I-40 and 7 miles from Hwy 69. At the doorstep of Lake Eufaula State Park and Marina. Neighborhood boat ramp is 1/2 mile from the house. Bring your lake toys with covered parking for multiple vehicles and boats. Two secured garages with electric for charging. One can fit an 18 foot bass boat or bigger (see pictures) and the second can fit smaller boats and jet skis. In addition we are 14 miles to Eufaula Cove Marina.

Sherwood Escape - Quiet + Peaceful

Escape to this recently renovated 3 bedroom 2 bath home tucked away in Sherwood Forest Addition. The location is perfect to have peace & quiet, while still being minutes from downtown Eufaula. The house is surrounded by mature trees and is 2 blocks from the lake. The property is 1 acre and has winter views of the lake. There are 2 boat ramps within 2 miles of the property. There is also a large parking pad where you are welcome to park your boat.

Quarry Retreat

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful stay. Our place is a perfect family getaway. A quiet spot in the country, but only about 15 minutes from the center of Muskogee. It also includes recreation time in our rock Quarry across the road. Activities Include: paddle boards, Lilly pad, kayak, canoe, fishing, swimming, and cliff jumping or just hiking the trail behind the quarry. Not many stays with a private lake.
