Our historic house is ON TOP OF Mount Nebo, in the state park at SUNRISE POINT, with panoramic views to the E and S. Mt. Nebo soars 1,350 feet above the AR River Valley, known for its natural beauty, wildlife, and world-class biking and hiking trails. Fishing, rafting, canoeing, local wine tours, art and balloon festivals are nearby. For most of us, however, we just relax.

The Piney Pioneer Cabin

This cabin sits right on the main channel of the Arkansas River. It is built from cedars cut from surrounding land and mostly repurposed items. The train tracks run alongside the river, so guests can enjoy both train and barge traffic. The loft bedroom is accessed by stairs that would be more aptly described as a ladder; it would be dangerous for small children or people who are not well balanced. Guests can enjoy the outdoor fire pit, grilling, and beautiful sunsets.

Horsehead Lake Lodge Waterfall Cabins are situated along the spillway at Horsehead Lake on Horsehead Creek. This is one of the highest volume waterfalls in all of Northwest Arkansas! It is absolutely breathtaking at times and especially after heavy rains. The cabins are as close to the edge as you can get! The coolest thing, you not only get the waterfall, but the lake is within a few hundred feet from the waterfall cabins. It's the best of both worlds!
