Welcome to the Cuyuna Wattage Cottage! We built this ultramodern cabin to be an energy-efficient retreat for you to enjoy after biking, hiking, snowmobiling, or otherwise exploring this beautiful area. You’ll love viewing a sunrise through two story windows in the main living space or warming up by the fireplace. Located a 1/2 mile away from the Cuyuna mountain bike trail system Yawkey trails. 1/2 to the beach, 2 mi. to Crosby. It is the only house on the street, on seven acres. Great privacy!

This cabin is ideal for a getaway year round. Set in a peaceful, wooded, quiet bay on Horseshoe Lake on the Chain of Lakes. This cozy, inviting cabin has a gorgeous shoreline with a sandy beach, stunning sunset views, a dock that is perfect for fishing (or jumping in!), a raft to swim to, hammocks to lounge in, and a large bonfire area to end your day. Endless outdoor activities year round! This cabin has everything you need for a memorable, relaxing vacation! No detail has been overlooked.

Adventure Studio

The Adventure Studio is like stepping into a treehouse that boasts stunning views and a cozy relaxing deck overlooking 200' of shoreline on a great fishing lake. Inside enjoy views from two full walls of windows, a skylight and vaulted ceilings. Well appointed kitchen for a several day stay. A fire pit, pedal boat, paddleboards, wooded acreage, a mile long nature hiking, biking trail and access to other adventures. All on a quiet tree lined road, perfect for peaceful strolls at sunset.

Firefly (Private Rustic Log Cabin-View L Superior)

Firefly is a beautiful timber frame cabin on 2 acres of land w/ parking and a sauna! Surrounding windows offer views of pines & a small glimmer of Lake Superior. Perfect for solo adventures & couples willing to pack-in/pack-out. You are the CLEANER (you must vacuum, wipe, remove ALL food/garbage/rocks/crumbs and leave tidy!). The perfect solution for cabin fever! This romantic & private log cabin overlooks beautiful Diamond lake. Two queen size beds, one is adjustable w/massage. Hand-hewn rock gas fireplace, massage chair, fully stocked modern kitchen, wifi, YouTube TV (local channels & espn) & streaming. Enjoy the gazebo & hot tub next to the cabin throughout the seasons. I live across the street & clean and sanitize, so I know it is done properly. Note: Optional (additional charge) game room available.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."
