The Hilltop House

The Hilltop House is located less than a half mile from the Devil Anse trailhead and under 1 mile from downtown Matewan WV. This beautifully remodeled home (2023) is designed for riders that want more from where they stay, The Hilltop house has great privacy and beautiful views in addition to being packed with features both inside and out. This home is designed for a maximum of 6 guests, please do not book if you have more than 6 in your party without hosts prior approval.

There are two patio areas in the back with a built in grill station and a fire-pit to enjoy on those cool evenings. Peggie’s Studio Retreat is nestled in a secluded hollow just minutes from the Bearwallow Trailhead of the Hatfields & McCoys’ Trail System. The space is a large art/photography studio that has been transformed into an inviting living space. You’ll love the peace and quiet after a day on the trails. Buy your official Hatfield - McCoyTrail Permits on site. (Let Peggie know you want to purchase Trail Passes when you book the studio. Two week notice required )

Relaxing stay at Creekside Lodge

Wonderful, homey getaway beside flowing creek with little traffic, less than a mile from the Buffalo Mountain Trailhead. This is not just a place for trail riders but has been used by people attending family reunions and local festivals. Creekside Lodge is within the town limits of Delbarton where there are several restaurants, a small general store, and soon to open Dollar General. Trail riders will pass a local gas station on the way to the trail head.

KING BED Cozy Cabin on the Hatfield McCoy trails

We have a 2 bed room cabin available for rent located right next to the Hatfield McCoy ATV trail system, along with being located in Gilbert, WV which is the HUB of all good trail riding available! We are only 1 mile to the Rock House trail head. We are just a 5 minute ride to the new trail system Braveheart. You have your own private hot tub, sun room, and private outdoor getaway to relax at night. There is a futon available in the sun room as well.

Just a couple of miles from Chief Logan State Park .
