A unique river retreat for relaxing and viewing wildlife. We are minutes from extensive trails and about an hour from Lassen Park. Our house has fragile and antique components and is not suited for pets, groups or children. If you are ok with quirky, imperfect, au natural and "wild" (possibility of snakes and spiders) we have your place! Cozy cabin near some of California's most pristine pine forest, waterholes and fishing, and only 9 miles from the Lassen National Park's Southwest Visitor Center. The town of Mineral is a small island of private cabins surrounded by a sea of National Forest and National Park lands. An adventurer's dream. You could walk out the backdoor of the cabin, into the forest, and arrive at the Lassen Visitor Center without crossing a single paved road, or seeing another human. Just bears.

Spend time in a quiet, peace-filled getaway. Relax on the back patio, spend time with your dog in the gated front yard or enjoy the cool of the AC inside. Shasta Dam, Shasta Lake and Centimudi boat ramp are just 2 miles away. There are a couple great hikes and walks close by to enjoy. Plus, if you have a boat/trailer, there is room for it in the driveway. Be on the watch for the wild deer and turkeys; and listen for the frogs at night too!

This King deluxe master studio is 3 mins walk to the river and trails. Soak in the spa bath, 'eat in' using your private kitchenette, enjoy the freshly roasted special blend of coffee provided by your host, or sit on the patio in the tranquil back garden.
