Cocoya is a working coconut and cinnamon plantation. Our house Sama means "Peace" in Sinhalese. It is designed to be a simple, open and spacious plantation home that connects with nature. It features an open living space, a kitchen and direct access to a 17m pool. Upstairs we have a master suite and junior bedroom that share a balcony with plantation views. Both have ensuite open-air showers. Guests enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and exclusive pool access. We do not have air-conditioning.

The authentic wooden cabanas are just 5m from the beach and with a long coral reef just 70m from the sand it forms our famous natural swimming pool. Sometimes you can swim with giant turtles. You can swim all year round and 24 hours a day. We provide all services you need. From airport transfers to tours or day trips, fishing, snorkeling along the reef to scuba diving from Unawatuna Dive Center, meals and drinks, Ayurveda Treatments to Yoga lessons. The washing machine and dryer make travelling easy and hiring a scooter from Epic Rides or using Uber or Pick me apps allows easy beach and local historic site access.

This light and spacious two-bedroom villa is located at Sōmar, a boutique-style hotel set in a tropical oasis of palm trees and greenery. The 2-bedroom villa offers a private living room and kitchen, lush patio, spacious veranda and 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, both with indoor and outdoor showers. At the same time all famous surf spots are close to reach for beginners and pros: Coconut, Plantations, Rams, Lazy Left and Lazy right.
